Close at the heel of winning the recent Homegrown Superstar singing competition, 12 year old Zaebriel Orayenza of Plumpton is also a state finalist for Take the Mic being decided this Sunday, 30th August.   For her video submission for this stage of this online singing competition,  Zaebriel performed Rise Up by Andra Day.

On Sunday, voting will be open from the start of the artists' showtime until 11:30pm the following day at www.takethemic.com.au/vote. Zaebriel will be in the NSW slot of 4-5pm.This part of the competition will provide the chance for up to 3 singers per division to proceed to the big National Final event, and win the State Final prize. All the votes from the last round are counted, and viewers may vote again using the same email addresses from last round.


The State winners of Take the Mic will receive singing, dancing, acting coaching and career consultation.  The National winner will win a much-sought experience with James North Productions including the creation, development of the artists' original song professionally recorded and mastered worth, with the package worth $10,000.

Zaebriel's message to her supprters:
