Selfless Love Concert which was a collaboration by Radio Tagumpay and the FCF Life Centre was a success at many levels. The concert raised funds through the generosity of the sponsors who partnered the initiative and with additional tickets being released after the initial tickets sold out within two weeks. The event showcased the amazing talents of the combination of seasoned artists and some who appreciated the platform to be introduced to the community. It also got the community together in its endeavour to help Myrna Punay, the Filipina who lost sight on two eyes while visiting on a tourist visa as well as extend financial help to struggling international students.
The artists who donated their gift of music included: Samantha & Sean Aguala; Prody & Shirley Bartolome; Christopher Booth; Juliana Carvajal; Micah Gabriel (accompanied with guitar by husband Michael); Criz Guce; Jhoanna Marie Guines (accompanied with guitar by husband Mark) and Porsha Pepic.
In addition to the talent of the artists, the success of the concert was underpinned by many other volunteers.
The hosts were Dolly Asuncion of FCF Life Centre and yours truly from Radio Tagumpay. The Floor Directing/Managing was shared by Jojo Sebastian and Ronell Amper. Photography was by Nicky Galbis Anacin. The FCF Life Centre Technical Production [Lights & Sounds] Team was headed by Jun Agcanas. He was assisted by Sound: Patrick Guines, Sidney Guines; Video: Neil Deyto, RJ ALmero, Reggie Gargania; Lights: Lou Deyto; Projection: Tess/Nida. The Reception and COVID Control Team comprised of Luisa Ramirez Randy Ramirez Byrne Santos and Pye Santos.
The Coordinating comprised of Pastor Rudy and Marion Tan; Mrs Beng Perdon; Violi Calvert; whereas the Production and Program Committee composed of Criz Guce, Andrew Russell, Christopher Booth and Violi Calvert worked behind the scene to put together the show enjoyed by all.
