The Australian Filipina congratulates the Philippine Consulate General in Sydney led by Consul General Ezzedin Tago in undertaking a series of online cooking demonstrations from today, July 3 at 6pm Sydney time [4pm Manila time].
The cooking demonstrations which will be held at Sentro Rizal in the Consulate's premises, will be undertaken by Department of Tourism Attache Norjamin delos Reyes and Consular staff every Friday to 31 July. These will be available for all through the Consulate's FB page: https://www.facebook.com/PHLinSydney/
The initiative is part of the Consulate's celebration of Nutrition Month 2020 dubbed as Lasap "Masustanyang Pagkaing Pinoy".
The cooking demonstrations will showcase a national dish and from the main Philippine regions, as well as highlight the goodness of coconuts as part of our cooking as per the schedule below.
July 3 - National Dish
July 10 - Luzon Cuisine
July 17 - Visayas Cuisine
July 24 - Mindanao Cuisine
July 31 - Health and nutrition benefits of coconuts.
