Hot Mamaz, 
a group of mothers in Sydney with the mission of promoting good health through dancing and nutritious eating, held its advanced Mother's Day event on 1 May 2021.  In line with its advocacy, a Healthy Mother’s Day Lunch Menu was prepared by no less than the founder of HMZ herself, Arlene Howe.  Aside from the sumptous lunch, the members also enjoyed lots of dancing throughtout the afternoon with the dance professional, Rommel Reyes Olson, for their special bonding time, taking photos and receiving a gift each from Arlene.

The event which held at St John’s Park NSW in the beautiful garden of one of the members Luzette Saez, the HMZ also featured the book titled DON’T LAUGH OUT LOUD, a collection of comic sketches by Jaime Kelly Pimentel, the organiser and convenor of Filpressyd Media.  Mr Pimentel introduced the Hot Mamaz to the press on its first year as a dynamic dancing group whose ideals are to empower the members to better themselves as women.

At the event, the HMZ also proudly featured the 5th book titled THE SCENT OF DANGKALAN LEAVES, a memoir with delectable recipes, written by their very own member, Neria Nidea Soliman.  The book was formally launched during the Women’s International Day 2021. Ms Soliman who is one of Hot Mamaz's founding members, currently holds the position of Public Relation Officer. 

The other officers are Sheila Collantes, President, Nonna Sarmiento VP, Ofelia Kasilag Secretary and Bernadine Williams Treasurer. 

The next big event to be undertaken by Hot Mamaz is  Live, Love, Dance which is collaboration with My Redeemer Lives Inc. on August 1, 2021 at Blacktown RSL Club.  The event is aimed at raising funds for the support of indigenous inmates, ex-inmates and their families.
