In today's media briefing, NSW Premier Dominic Perrote announced that NSW will welcome international travellers, without the need to be in hotel quarantine from November 1, 2021.  The Premier made the announcement in anticipation that the 80% fully vaxed rate will be reached during the weekend.   The arrivals would need to show proof of full vaccination with  vaccine approved by the Therapeutic Goods Administration.  They also need to have negative COVID 19 PCR test before arrival.  However, the Commonwealth still has the final say in opening borders.

In addition, fully vaxed individuals will be allowed to do regional travel from November 1.

In the meantime, Victoria is still battling high number of cases of COVID 19.  Today's figure was at 2,179 with 6 deaths.
