NSW Premier Dominic Perrotet announced that the planned concessions for fully vaxxed individuals have been moved forward to Monday, November 8th from the original date of December 1st.  This was based on the fully vaccinated level having reached 85%.

On the other hand, the Premier announced that the 'freedom day' for unvaccinated people had had been moved back to December 15th, from the original date of December 1st, or when 95% fully vaccinated rate is reached.

The concessions which are to take effect from Monday, November 8th are as listed below.

The figures of cases released today, Friday, November 5th showed the local cases down 59 from yesterday's figures. Cases in hospital were down by 17 and in ICU were down by 3. Deaths 3, down 1. Vax second dose .6% up, could reach 90% today. The first dose is slowly creeping toward to 95%.

We still need to be vigilant in following health protocols (unvaxxed not to mingle; observe social distancing; practice good hygience, etc) and get vaccinated if not already done.

Just a reminder there are penalties for using fake vax documentation; people are encouraged to report to Crimestoppers any known breaches of this as they put people at risk.

A person who uses a false COVID-19 vaccination certificate could be fined or face jail time, under an amendment to the New South Wales public health order.

On Tuesday, Health Minister Brad Hazzard signed off on subclause 6.4(3) of the COVID-19 health order, preventing anyone from wrongfully claiming they’re fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

The health rule states:

“A person must not provide, display or produce to another person information or evidence, including vaccination evidence, purporting to show the person is a fully vaccinated person, unless the information or evidence is true and accurate,”
