One of Sydney's popular young artists, Jasmine Henry left for the Philippines last year to pursue her passions and try her luck in the entertainment industry there.  The very next day of her arrival, she was featured in a major event - the launch of Minalungao National Park in Nueva Ecija, which was attended by an estimated 5,000 people.

Jasmine has come home to Sydney to be part of an equally huge event, the Miss World Australia 2019 NSW Final and very RGathercole Show held on 7th Jul 2019 at the Star Event Theatre which was organised by Marites Novis of MFN Productions and LW Phoenix.  Not a mean feat for a girl who just recently turned 15 years, sharing the same birthday of 19th June with her mother Pin Montemayor who accompanies her everywhere.

Her faithful followers and those who saw her the first time at the event were enthralled as she confidently sashayed on the runway and modelled a pink gown created by avant-garde fashion designer Rocky Gathercole who dresses the who's who in the entertainment and socialite world. The gown has several roses at the front, voluminous folds in the skirt and showed off Jasmine's beautiful long legs.

As added features of the extravagant fashion event, Jasmine also shared her talent and passion for singing. The audience was further mesmerised by her lovely rendition of immortal song "Over the Rainbow" in the early part of the evening and later on the hit "Never Enough" from 'The Greatest Showman' movie.

Excited to be included in the line up of models showcasing the unique and extra-ordinary designs by Rocky Gathercole, Jasmine enthused:  "Wearing Rocky Gathercole’s creation was magical! It’s a fairytale.  I felt as though I’m floating in a cloud! It was a dream come to true to wear such a beautiful creation of his in such a major event in my home country. I love the uniqueness of the dress in shape and texture. Like nothing you can buy! I love the boldness and statement that the dress creates. Everything about the dress is gorgeous!!

"Working with RG has been an amazing experience. Tito Rocky is such an inspiration to so many people such as myself. He is so humble and kind. He definitely makes working so enjoyable and exciting!"

Wait there's more to Jasmine's homecoming!   Jasmine also released her latest single entitled Mahal Ko Ang Aking Pangarap on 12th July 2019 on digital formats under by E-talent International Music, then to be released by MCA Music, the Philippine counterpart of the biggest international record label, Universal Music Group. The song speaks about loving one’s dream and making that dream happen. Jasmine’s interpretation of the song reflects her journey towards the realisation of her long-awaited dream of releasing her own songs and sharing them to the public.

Mahal Ko Ang Aking Pangarap was written and composed by Annabelle Regalado Borja with music collaboration with Sherwin Castillo and was produced by Marcus Davis, an American record producer based in the Philippines. Simultaneous to the release of the single which is available on digital platforms (Apple Music, Itunes, Deezer and Spotify), Jasmine shall also release her music video of the song directed by Jeffrey Tan.

In a few months’ time, Jasmine will release her composition entitled Playing with Fire, produced by multi-awarded composer-producer-musician, Jimmy Antiporda. This is Jasmine’s first written song to be released on digital formats.

Jasmine confidently says, “I will never stop dreaming and I will continue sharing my God-given talents in the best way I can.  With love and support from so many, I will achieve these dreams and I am forever grateful.”
