The World Supremacy Battlegrounds (WSB) Festival is expected to be a star-studded affair when it returns to its spiritual home at the Sydney Olympic Park Sports Centre this weekend.

Australia’s Got Talent finalists Kookies N Kream and Genesis Cerezo, X-Factor boy band What About Tonight, YouTube sensations Sarah Ellen and Meah Riano, Everybody Dance Now star Michael “Tiny" Flores, America’s Best Dance Crew champion Poreotics choreographer Dumbo are just some of the stars that will be attending WSB.

Also on the line-up are Samantha Cahill from World Hip Hop Dance champions ReQuest Crew, Justice Crew leader Emmanuel Rodriguez, former Philippine Allstars two-time gold world champions member Orwayne De Leon and Viva recording artist Kenjhons.


The WSB weekend is jam-packed with various events. Today, the WSB Australian National Finals will feature Australia’s best dance crews. Tomorrow (Saturday, December 1), the WSB International Championship will pit the top Australian dance teams against crews from other countries.

Newly created WSB events include the Dance@Live Battles direct from Japan, Supreme Beatbox Championship (SBC), Urbanstar Talent Quest, G2DB High School Challenge, Strictly Buck Krump Battle and ILOVEKPOP Song & Dance Contest.

Then on Sunday (December 2), WSB will hold an International Conference in LA Talent in Silverwater that will allow Australian delegates to engage with their international peers. Multiple workshops, high profile celebrity speakers and a special awards ceremony will be presented on the day.

Participating countries include Australia, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, New Zealand, Philippines, Singapore, South Africa, Taiwan and the USA.
