Tomorrow night promises an intoxicating night of Broadway featuring a Miss Saigon medley and songs from Evita and Phantom of the Opera, in a fundraiser headlined by Filipino theatre star Pinky Amador.

The show, called ‘Songs from the Heart’, will be held Sunday night, 14th of October, at the Burwood RSL Club.

The Australian Filipina got a sneak peak of the song list and can safely say that it is a must-see for Broadway aficionados among the Filipino community.

Pinky, an original cast member of Miss Saigon, will be performing in a medley featuring ‘Sun and Moon’, ‘Movie in My Mind’ and ‘Last Night of the World’.

She will be ably supported by local artists Tina Ranoso-Bangel and Daniel Ross (Daniel was a member of the Miss Saigon Australia cast).

Sharing the night’s billing is Marcus Rivera, also a Miss Saigon cast member and a recording artist. In keeping with the show’s theme, Marcus performs a Phantom of the Opera duet with Pinky in the cult classic, ‘Music of the Night’.
